I recorded this sounds by a sound blaster live! soundcard in 2003, when i tested its highest sampling rate (96 khz). I used my philips sbc 3050 condenser electret microphone. Before uploading, in 2015, i applied a little noise reduction in audacity software.

I sampled the bell tree at our church. After seeing how much the instrument costs at the music store, i opted to not buy one. The long version of this moves from left to right, and has the single sample repeat twice. So it begins on the left, has a delayed start in the center, then finally a third repeat starts on the right. Add liberal amounts of reverb, to taste. Wrote/recorded a free chill tune that used the chimes at 120bpm using ableton live 9 stock plugins:chimes and bowlight and shadow. A musical santa plush with old, half-used batteries that i recorded 16 years ago. Sorry for the loud sound, the bitrate and the sound quality. I thought the file would still be usable.
